Save Energy and Earn Money for your School with Energy Troopers Grand Prize $25,000!
Here’s a new way to energize your school.
Energy Troopers is a non-profit organization that encourages people to cut back on energy usage during certain peak periods, reducing carbon emissions. With Energy Troopers, your school competes against other schools to see who can have the most enrollments and maximum energy savings.
Here’s how your school can win:
To encourage people to sign up for this program, Energy Troopers is offering the following incentives:
10 sign ups: $100
25 sign ups: $250
50 sign ups: $1,000
1,000 sign ups: $2,000
Deadline for the sign up prizes: MONDAY, MARCH 6, 2017
In addition a school can win $25,000 for saving the most energy, with second place being at $15,000, and third place at $10,000. I have also made arrangements that prize monies are made out to the PTA/PTSA for the school sites that have a PTA unit. The William H. Standley Middle PTSA has been awarded $500 for their efforts on getting the most sign-ups so far.
