Mission Statement
Our Mission is to advocate for all the children and youth of San Diego Unified School District.
San Diego Unified Council of PTAs will provide service, support, training, leadership, and guidance to each of our 81 PTA units.
We will assist units through communication, training, unit visits, projects, and providing PTA resources. We will serve our
community through education, collaboration and resource services.

Charitable Trust Filing Information
Every PTA has a new legal requirement – filing for a Charitable Trust Number. CAPTA has the information on
their website.
New Immunization Rules for California
Starting in September of 2012, Whooping Cough Immunization required for all 7th through 12th graders. From more information visit
